Baker's returned to winning ways after a hard fought victory over Newbury Forest at Parkside Stadium.
Baker's took the lead in the 8th minute through Daniel Barth. Oliseh Okuguni dispossessed Forest's McDonald following a square pass. He threaded the ball down the line for Ben Saunders who advanced into the box before crossing to Barth, who took a touch then smashed the ball into the bottom corner.
Forest were being limited to chances from a distance but were keeping possession well and had a few half chances to equalise.
The second half came and the pattern of the game continued with Newbury Forest having lots of possession but not really threatening the goal bar one incredible Frankie Worboyes save where he tipped the ball onto the post to keep the slender lead in tact.
Baker's were awarded a penalty in the 77th minute when first half substitute Kai Warren was fouled and upstepped Carl Patten to fire the ball home and double the lead.
Some good work down the left in the 89th minute from Barth allowed him room and he crossed to Warren to tap the ball home for a 3-0 victory.
